Annissa Nurul Shanty Kusuma Ward Heryadie better known as Shanty is an Indonesian singer and movie star who rose to fame for starring with 3 albums Shanty (2000) and the second album released Offerings From the Heart December 2002 and especially the hit Finding True Love, brought her a celebrity status in entertainment industry. She also successfully crossed over into acting when she was nominated Best lead Actress in Indonesian Film Festival 2006 for her performance in her first film Sharing Husband and attracted attention and created a sensation in Indonesian cinema for starring in Kala. She has earned Best New Comer (AMI Awards 2001), The Rocketeer (Clear Top 10 Awards 2001) and Nomination for Best actress in IMA 2008.

BEFORE FAME

As the youngest daughter of the couple Eddy Heryadie and Ratna Sutama, Shanty expressed her talent in singing as her child and started her career as a dancer. She also served as a broadcaster in radio Geronimo. Shanty soon became signed a contract with MTV and soon served as a former disc jockey MTV.
