Known as a former Filipino beauty queen, Charlene Gonzales gained more fame as a talk show host and a commercial model. Typically, her role in the TV show At Home Ka Dito earned her two TV awards for Best Lifestyle Show Host at 18th and 19th PMPC Star Awards for Television in 2004 and 2005 respectively, and a nominations for the same award in 2007. In addition, she was nominated Best Female Showbiz Oriented Talk Show Host for show The Buzz at the PMPC Star Awards for Television in 2011 and 2013. 

BEFORE FAME

After becoming the queen of the Binibining Pilipinas-Universe 1994, Charlene Gonzales on behalf of her country participated in the Miss Universe 1994 pageant held in Manila, at which she gained the Best National Costume award and landed in the sixth-place finisher. 

PERSONAL LIFE

On  May 28, 2001, Charlene Gonzales got married to Filipino actor Aga Muhlach with twin children named Andrés and Atasha (born 2001).
